Brooke Bains is an experienced company builder, operator, and go-to-market leader with over 20 years of driving growth for early-stage and established companies. She began her career in real estate investment banking and received foundational go-to-market training launching products and building territories in healthcare. On the eve of the 2008 financial crisis, Brooke returned to her finance roots with CoreLogic, an early-stage mortgage tech and analytics company, where she built a multi-million-dollar consumer banking portfolio and developed analytic solutions for regulatory stakeholders to reopen the capital markets. CoreLogic went public in 2010.
From 2008-2017, Brooke co-founded and bootstrapped DME Consulting Group (now Periscope), a multi-million dollar payer-centered healthcare tech and consulting company that continues to thrive. After completing her MBA at Pepperdine, Brooke began working with VC and PE-backed tech companies in go-to-market leadership roles. She co-developed one of the first AI-guided selling and recommendation engines with IBM Watson. IBM acquired the technology a few years later. Most recently, she served as an Entrepreneur in Residence with Techstars and led revenue operations for a robotics company acquired by DoorDash.
Currently, Brooke is an Operating Partner with Step Change Innovations, building the consumer portfolio for science-backed functional foods. She is also an angel investor, advisor, and board member focused on purpose-driven brands and leveraging her operator experience to drive growth.
Brooke’s newest venture, Bold Enterprise, provides a unique model for building sustainable and profitable companies that align with life strategies. She aims to inspire a non traditional perspective on how leaders can build fulfilling lives while creating massively valuable companies.
